Beginning his career as a Digital Media Designer before the dawn of the 21st Century, Jag is a seasoned veteran of the User Interface (UI). He is also a bona fide Senior Front-End Developer, and UX Architect.
Jag studied Software Engineering and Anthropology, at the same time unbeknownst to his mother who thought he was becoming a doctor. However his passion is a mix between creativity and technology he has studied Digital Animation, Digital Media, and Computer Graphics both in an online and offline capacity.
After learning the digital ropes, Jag spent three years (part-time) as a UI instructor at Centennial College along with teaching Front-End design and development at The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT). In his career, he has worked as a Senior Java UI Developer, responsible for the User Experience within the development lifecycle, for various enterprise level systems and websites. He continues to enjoys documenting, and applying his UI Analyst skills from conception to construction and implementation. |
However, he is not purely a digit-head, no. His invaluable combo of creative understanding and high-tech skills enable him to quickly assess interactive projects for both technical and creative potential.
Jag’s work has helped win a Cannes Cyber Lion (Bronze), as well as achieved Finalist status at the equally prestigious One Show Interactive Awards in New York. He currently volunteers his time to judge digital events, as well as having lent a technical hand with community TV and Webgrrls a women’s organization committed to helping professional women in their digital careers.
Jag is dedicated and passionate about the User Interface, who produces great quality work and is proactive and committed. One of life’s genuine ‘nice guys’. |
